• Air France took its name in August 1933. On October 7 of the same year, it established its official headquarters in Paris-Le Bourget airport.

• On March 31 2005, the company possessed a fleet of 373 aircraft (including 121 aircraft pertaining to regional affiliates), optimised by the acquisition of modern, technically similar aircraft.

• Air Europa uses its code on BIO/CDG,VGO/CDG,BCN/CDG VLC/CDG and VLL/ORY flights operated by Air France.
• Moreover, the MAD/LYS, BCN/LYS, MAD/TLS, MAD/BOD, BCN/BOD flights operated by Air France carry the UX* code.
• From December 13, 2004, Air Europa increased its codeshare for destinations further than BOD, LYS and CDG from MAD, BCN, BIO, VGO and VLC to:
• Via LYS: BRU, ZRH, NCE, MRS.
• Via CDG: MAN, NCL, ABZ, TXL, NUE, BRE, ARN, OSL, LJU, DUB, GVA, EDI, GOT.
• Via BOD: DUB, BRU.
