Ammunition (cartridges for firearms) for sporting purposes and packed in a secure manner (Division 1.4 S), in quantities which do not exceed 5 Kg in gross weight per passenger and for personal use, excluding ammunition with explosive or incendiary missiles. The permitted quantity for more than one passenger should not be grouped in one or more parcels.

Camping gas stoves and other receptacles which have contained inflammable liquids, as long as the receptacles have been completely drained according to the instructions in the IATA Regulations on hazardous.

Solid Carbon Dioxide (dry ice), in quantities which do exceed 2 Kg per passenger, in carry-on luggage, when used for packing perishables and whenever the packaging allows the gas to be released. If passengers wish to check it in they have to request approval from the airline.

Wheelchairs or other motorized devices operated by electric batteries, as long as the battery is disconnected, its terminals are insulated to avoid accidental short circuits and the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair or motorized device.

Wheelchairs or other motorized devices operated by wet-cell batteries, as long as the wheelchair or motorized device can be loaded, secured and unloaded in a vertical position and the battery is disconnected, its terminals protected to avoid short circuits and it is secured safely. If this cannot be done, the battery should be removed from the wheelchair or motorized device and transported according to the IATA Regulations on hazardous goods.

Heat-producing items such as sub aqua torches (diving lamps) and items for underwater welding. The heat-producing item or power source should be dismantled to avoid accidental activation.

A barometer or mercury thermometer transported by a representative of an official organization, as long as it is packed using resistant external packaging and an internal sealed bag which does not allow filtration or perforation and which prevents the mercury from leaking from the package regardless of its position. Note: The captain of the aeroplane should be notified.

Avalanche rescue backpack, one (1) per passenger, equipped with a flare device containing less than 200 milligrams net of Division 1.4 S explosives and less than 250 milligrams of Division 2.2 compressed gas. The backpack should be packaged so that it cannot be activated by accident. The airbags in the backpack should have pressure release valves.

Insulation packaging containing cooled liquid nitrogen completely absorbed in porous material, used for transporting non-hazardous products at low temperatures, as long as the packaging design does not allow pressure to develop in the container and does not allow the cooled liquid nitrogen to be released, regardless of the position of the insulation packaging.

Small cylinders containing "non-flammable gas", for use with life jackets, containing carbon dioxide or another suitable Division 2.2 gas, up to two small cylinders and up to two replacement cartridges per person.

Small oxygen or air cylinders, required for medical purposes.

Division 2.2 aerosols, without secondary use, for sporting or home use. The total net quantity of all the items mentioned above may not exceed 2 kg or 2 litres and the net quantity of each individual item may not exceed 0.5 kg or 0.5 litres.

Non-radioactive medicines or toiletries (including aerosols) such as hairspray, perfume, cologne and medicines containing alcohol The total net quantity of all the items mentioned above may not exceed 2 kg or 2 litres and the net quantity of each individual item may not exceed 0.5 kg or 0.5 litres.

Alcoholic drinks, when packaged for retail sale, with over 24 % but less than 70 % alcohol by volume and in receptacles containing no more than 5 litres, with a total net quantity per person of 5 litres Note: Alcoholic drinks containing a percentage of alcohol by volume which is less than 24% are not subject to any restriction.

Cylinders containing "carbon dioxide" gas, used for operating mechanical limbs and replacement cylinders of a similar size, if required, to ensure sufficient supply during the journey.

Electronic consumer items containing lithium-based batteries, such as watches, calculators, cameras, mobile phones, laptops, video cameras, etc. when they are transported by passengers for personal use. Spare batteries should be protected individually to prevent short circuits, and only be transported in carry-on luggage. Also, each spare battery should not exceed the following quantities:

a) For lithium-based or lithium-mix batteries: a lithium content of less than 2 grams or
b) For ionized lithium batteries: aggregate lithium content equivalent to less than 8 grams.

Ionized lithium batteries with an aggregate lithium content equivalent to more than 8 grams, but no more than 25 grams, may be transported in carry-on luggage if they are protected individually to prevent short circuits and are limited to two spare batteries per person.

Hair curlers containing hydrocarbon gas, up to one per passenger as long as the safety cover is securely fitted onto the heating element. These curlers may not be used on board at any time. Gas for filling these curlers is not allowed in carry-on or checked luggage.

Medical or clinical thermometers, containing mercury, one per passenger for personal use when kept in its protective case.

Radioisotopic heart pacemakers or other items including those activated by lithium batteries, implanted in a person, or radiopharmaceutical items which are located within a passenger's body as the result of medical treatment.

Safety matches or cigarette lighters, with liquid fuel completely absorbed in a solid, for passenger's use and when transported by the passenger him/herself. However, for lighters with a reservoir containing unabsorbed liquid fuel, which is not liquid gas, lighter fuel and spares for filling them are not allowed. Note: "Strike anywhere" matches are prohibited from air transport.
