This restriction is necessary in order to comply with current Health and Safety regulations for baggage handlers. Therefore, if any piece exceeds this weight, you will have to repack your baggage, making use, if necessary, of additional suitcases or travel bags.
If you are on connecting flights with different airlines or travelling under a code share flight, please check their baggage allowances as they may differ from Air Europa’s. Depending on the agreements between companies, in some cases it will not be possible to check in the baggage until the final destination.
Infants (children under the age of 2 on the date of the flight) are not entitled to a seat. However, they are entitled to the same free baggage allowance as adult passengers.
- Moreover, one of the following articles is also permitted:
- A collapsible pushchair, or
- An infant-carrying basket, or
- A baby car seat.
These articles may be carried in the cabin if they can be stored in the overhead luggage compartment or under the seat in front. If not, the article must be checked in.
